Organza Saree Care Instructions
1. Dry Clean Preferred (Especially First Few Wears):
Organza is a delicate, sheer fabric — dry cleaning is the safest option to maintain its crisp texture, embroidery, and beadwork.
2. If Hand Washing (Only When Necessary):
Use cold water and a mild detergent made for delicate fabrics.
Do not wring, scrub, or soak for too long.
Beadwork and embroidery must be handled with extreme care — spot clean if needed.
3. Drying:
Lay flat on a clean, dry towel or hang in shade (avoid direct sunlight).
Do not use a dryer — heat and tumbling can ruin the fabric's stiffness and sheen.
4. Ironing:
Always steam or iron on low heat from the reverse side.
Place a soft cotton cloth over the saree while ironing to protect embroidery and moti work.
Avoid pressing directly on scalloped edges or delicate detailing.
5. Storage:
Store in a muslin or breathable cotton bag to protect from dust and humidity.
Avoid hanging for long periods — fold gently to prevent stretching.
Keep away from direct contact with perfumes or moisture.
6. Travel Tip:
Roll instead of folding to prevent creases. Use tissue paper between layers if packing.
